The older one is kind of... cobbled together from a bunch of different authors, so the narrative thread is basically every single thing ever but cohesive. Mine is less thorough because it kind of takes forever to explain things here, but at least it's less whiplash inducing to read.

The queen's headquarters are in New Orleans. And generally major cities tend to be a little more civilized.

There are many people that hate my kind. We've had more trouble since coming out of the coffin, so to speak, than it was probably worth.

Vampires where I'm from tend to be less about that on a mass scale. Usually it's more killing people.
