--And I want you to keep an eye on a couple of vampires for me. You know the ones. They've gotten overexcited on multiple occasions and I won't have them damaging anymore of the human patrons. The cleanup alone isn't worth it. If they give you any trouble, you have my permission to correct that mistake as you see fit.

[There's static on the other end.]

Pam? [More static.]

[He notices the environment isn't New Orleans and he lands immediately. Nope definitely not New Orleans.]

[ sookie curses herself the entire way to the square. she ought to just let eric be, stay tucked away safe in her apartment and not let him near her. but if godric really is dead...

only god's supposed to know what's coming next, but if eric knows... there's a part of her that wants to know, too. ]

Godric wanted to die. He let the sunlight burn him. [He says this softly but in a matter-of-fact way that only barely hides what he feels about that.]

...You should probably find a place to stay, where it'll be safe during the day. Underground might be best.

I've never been, but I'm sure they got somethin' you can stay in to keep away from the sun. Everything else is apartments, and unless you wanna sleep in a closet I'd try Underground.
