Part 1: well into the morning

[He sounds very confused.]

Hm. It's daylight and I'm not getting the bleeds.


Part 2: a little later when Eric is hungry

[Oh dear, he sounds only more confused and then angry this time.]

Why am I craving animal blood? This makes no sense.

....Where the fuck are my fangs?


Part 3: after a while of trying to figure this out, he's made it to the surface and into the sunlight

[He's amazed he's not burning in the sun...but then he looks down at his hands and arms, and notices that he's sparkling like someone tossed glitter all over him.]

You have got to be joking.




[[OOC: I took the liberty of taking his fangs away too, since Twilight vamps don't have them and he's pretty much becoming one of them physically. Oh and instead of choosing to drink animal blood like in those books, he's just gonna automatically want it.]]

[Godric's eyes widen as he takes in this information. The part about the animal blood in particular is horrifying. His decision is made in an instant. He holds out his wrist for Eric.]

Drink, Eric. Perhaps this can be undone.

[He looks at Godric's wrist like he would love to do nothing more than drink his blood, but he hesitates and speaks softly.]

I don't have fangs anymore, Godric.

[There's a lot of shame in his voice. He really wishes he never had to admit that.]

[At Eric's shameful tone, Godric doesn't hesitate to reach out with his other hand and cup Eric's cheek gently. The message is clear: this is not your fault and you have no need to be ashamed. Bringing his wrist back to his own mouth, Godric unsheathes his fangs and rips open the artery before offering it to Eric again.]

[Eric hungrily feeds on Godric's blood. He was so weirded out by the want for animal blood, that he hadn't bothered drinking any blood at all. Once he'd had his fill he let's go and licks the rest of the blood from his lips.]

[Godric lets Eric take his fill, unbothered by the drain. If Eric isn't cured, Godric would at least prefer that Eric continue to feed from him for the duration of the curse, rather than ever resorting to feeding from an animal.]

[Eric takes a moment to see if he's cured, but to no avail. He still doesn't have his precious fangs and the animal blood craving, while faint, is still there in the back of his mind. It's infuriating.]

I appear to remain unchanged.

[Godric frowns, but there's nothing they can do about it.]

Hopefully it will wear off soon. If not, we'll think of something else. Until then, stay out of the sunlight. If you need to feed, feed from me.

[The bleeds have started, and offering his blood to Eric has taken its toll, though not as deeply as it would have on someone younger. Still, if Eric has to feed from him again, he'll be hard-pressed to keep from feeling the effects, so he heads over to the bar to find sustenance of his own.]

[Eric wants to protest that the sun has no affect on him except for the bizarre glittering and that he's fine with drinking the blood from the bar, but a thousand years of obedience takes over and he just nods.]

Yes, Godric.

[He also notices Godric starting to bleed and follows him to the bar.]

You should rest.

I have no intention of leaving you alone like this. Staying awake is no trouble, or you can come rest with me.

[Godric leaves the decision to Eric so that he might choose whatever option is most comfortable for him. The strange alteration to Eric's nature has frayed their bond in a way that's utterly disconcerting to Godric, and he doesn't want to let Eric out of his sight.]

[Eric takes a moment to think. His maker could be so stubborn sometimes, but he could understand Godric's concern.]

I don't think I could sleep if I wanted to, but I will stay with you while you rest.

[After finishing his glass of blood, Godric heads back down to rest, trusting Eric to follow.]

[Eric dutifully follows Godric.

If he is unable to rest at all, he could always finish the rest of that paperwork he needed to do. You don't stop being a manager just because you are dead to the world for half the day. And now that he can't sleep due to this wretched curse, it is the perfect time to get ahead on things.]
