I would only recommend it if you enjoy hot weather, swamps, and deep seated prejudice against vampires. New Orleans is more civilized, of course.

The queen's headquarters are in New Orleans. And generally major cities tend to be a little more civilized.

There are many people that hate my kind. We've had more trouble since coming out of the coffin, so to speak, than it was probably worth.

Vampires where I'm from tend to be less about that on a mass scale. Usually it's more killing people.

There is nothing to stop us from killing humans, but for the most part we prefer to stay under the radar of the human police.

Some of us have normal jobs, just like everyone else. I run a night club, for instance. The only difference is we do them at night.
